What's New in Visual OPC .NET 3.0

Support for Visual Studio 2005
Visual OPC .NET supports Visual Studio 2005 and v2.0 of the .NET
Framework while remaining compatible with Visual Studio 2003 and .NET Framework
v1.1.
Improved Threading Support
A new property enables you to have all OPC callbacks marshalled to the parent
form's thread. Therefore, a call to Form.Invoke to sychronize threading is no
longer required.
What's New in Visual OPC .NET 2.0
Trending! Visual OPC .NET 2.0 offers the very extensive trend control shown
below. It can be added to any Windows Form and can be configured without a line
of code.
|
Multiple pens |
The trend control will handle any number of pens. Each pen is attached to an
OPC DA item. |
|
Multiple server support |
The trend control can collect data from both OPCDA and OPCHDA servers
simultaneously. |
| Internal archiving service |
The trend includes an internal archiving service that can be configured
to log the data even after the trend has closed. The archiver is OPCHDA
compliant and may be accessed by other OPCHDA clients. |
| Runtime navigation controls |
Your end user can navigate where he wishes to view the data with the
navigation controls that are included with the trend control. These controls
are optional and may be left off the trend control if desired. |
| Runtime property pages |
The user can access the trends properties during runtime. He/she may change
the properties that you designate as modifiable.
 |
|
