Visavi Visual OPC .NET

AccessPathChangeDelegate Delegate

Represents a method that handles a change in an item's access path.

[Visual Basic]
 Public Delegate Sub  AccessPathChangeDelegate( _
   ByVal sender As Object, _
   ByVal oldPath As String _
   ByVal newPath As String _
)
[C#]
 public class AccessPathChangeDelegate(
   object sender,
   string oldPath
   string newPath
);
[C++]
 public __gc class AccessPathChangeDelegate(
   Object* sender,
   String* oldPath
   String* newPath
);

[JScript] In JScript, you can use the delegates in the .NET Framework, but you cannot define your own.

Parameters [Visual Basic, C#, C++]

The declaration of your event handler must have the same parameters as the AccessPathChangeDelegate delegate declaration.

sender
The source of the event.
oldPath
The previous path of the item.
newPath
The new path of the item.

Remarks

When you create an AccessPathChangeDelegate delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Events and Delegates.
